Hershey Entertainment & ResortsSummer 2012 Internship Program Food and Beverage at Hersheypark Interns will maintain guest assistance and hospitality standards, while learning operational knowledge in four different rotation aspects of Food &Beverage (catering, restaurant, employee cafeteria and cabanas) within Hersheypark. This internship will allow the intern to understand job fields within each of the four different aspects mentioned above. This position will also gain management experience as they will be tasked with running the day to day operation in each of these areas once general understanding of each venue is accomplished. Hershey Entertainment & ResortsSummer 2012 Internship Program Hersheypark Food and Beverage continued: Restaurant (host/ hostess, bussers, servers, expos and culinary/dishroom as well as management) Catering (cooks, servers, catering staff as well as catering management) Coaster Cafe (employee dining - all staff, cafe management) Cabana (suite attendants, culinary, management) Other tasks relating to these areas: responding to both internal and external guests, staff coaching and evaluation, implementing training programs, understanding and maintaining F&B costs, maintaining building maintenance, inventory/ordering procedures and shadowing F&B department MOD (once deemed ready) Robert Gibson

Providing guest service and hospitality standards with general knowledge of events, activities, and operational standards for the department assigned Shadowing management in various areas of the assigned discipline Learning operational standards for the assigned discipline Completion of internship project(s) that supports operational standards for the primary role of the intern Participate in a “Manager on Duty” shift during cycle of internship.
