  2. What is the offer Service converting Symax program over to Unity. One rung converts to one rung of logic in IEC Ladder Diagram. Replaces some of the instructions with EFB’s. Converts all documentation into Unity. Can convert to Unity Quantum’s and Unity Premiums.

  3. Why go to Unity from a Symax processor? • All Symax I/O can be run under Unity. Exchange the processor to Quantum and keep all I/O. • Symax instructions are almost identical to Unity making transition easier. • If small Symax system with little I/O, can be converted to Premium and the code still looks the same. • All memory register status with access to bits will be the same in Unity. • Symax to Unity conversion is far superior to a Symax to 984LL conversion because it looks the same to the operators. Going to 984LL does not.

  5. Similar instructions IF and COMP • Unity COMP instruction and Symax IF instruction almost identical. Exact conversion below. Unity Symax Modsoft Over 10 spare registers needed and coil is different. Logic tough to follow with implied registers.

Pricing saves end-user time and money. Maintenance staff is not forced to learn IEC. E.F.B.’s emulate Symax instructions look and act the same. Unity has totally different nomenclature so it is difficult for System Integrator to perform this conversion.
