  3. Room 182 Procedures: 1- Class starts when the bell rings. BE READY with your instrument, music chair and stand! 2- Be quiet and attentive. Turn and LOOK AT the person who is speaking. 3- NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES DURING CLASS/SPARTAN TIME WITHOUT SPECIFIC PERMISSION! 4- No food, gum, candy or drinks (except water). 5- Do not touch equipment that is not assigned to you. 6- Store your equipment properly. Equipment damaged due to improper storage will become the student’s financial responsibility. 7- Set up the room before the start of each class period. Store all equipment as directed at the end of class.

  5. Practice Period 2 • Students may come to the band room for assistance or personal practice with written permission from their second period teacher, or a schedule change from Students Services.

Directors’ Notes • Please update your family’s contact information in BOTH Charms and 24/7. • Wind Symphony & Symphonic: challenges are now open! • Make sure your schedule for next year includes a band class, and PLEASE sign up for jazz band NOW so we have a good number on the roster! • We need 19 more players to sign up for the Fairfax July 4th Parade! • All student with “home” instruments or equipment MUST have them back to the band room by Friday, June 20.
