This study presents mesozooplankton biomass data collected in the upper 150m water column along Line P during four cruises in 1996 and 1997. Error bars represent one standard deviation calculated from three net hauls. Biomass samples were not taken at stations without associated biomass bars. Additionally, Neocalanus plumchrus vertical distribution and stage structure at OSP were examined during winter, spring, and summer, for day and night periods. Phaeopigments, chlorophyll a, copepod, Neocalanus cristatus, salp, Cyclosalpa bakeri, relative abundance, pigment composition in fecal pellets, and passive transport of biogenic matter were also analyzed. Refer to Whitney and Freeland (1999) for station locations.
