  2. Step 1 • Make sure you have the Compass Scores for the class that you are interested in taking Qualifying for CPT does not qualify you for all classes Check with your school counselors if you are in doubt! • Consider your options carefully Getting Started

  3. Step 2 • Once you are sure you are qualified, go to • http://www.gvltec.edu/index.aspx • Click academics course schedules Spring 2015 • Barton Campus Selecting your classes

  4. Step 3 • Find the prefix of the class you want to take: PSY=psychology • Find the course number: 201 • Look across the row to find the day and time you would like • Note also the building number and room • Be sure to WRITE THIS DOWN so you know where to go when classes start Classes…

  6. Things to Consider • Choose college classes that fit into your current schedule • We will not change your high school schedule for a new college class • Do not select a class during advisory Things to consider

  7. Guidelines • Sophomores: • New college students may take 1 class • Students currently taking a college class may take 2 classes Juniors: • May take up to 3 classes Seniors: • May take up to 4 classes Guidelines

  8. Step 4 • Filling out the Early College Enrollment registration form: • Information must be typed • All forms must be completed • Forms must be submitted before October 13th • Forms will be found on our website Forms

Step 5 • Forms will not be accepted after October 13th • Early College Enrollment Form • Eligibility Guidelines for College Students • Compass scores • Lottery Assistance Form if this is your 1st class) • Legal Status Verification Form (if this is your 1st class) w/ all required documentation (ID, etc.) Submitting forms
