  2. Supplies • 3 ring binder • pen or pencil • highlighter • flash drive • post-its • box of crayons, color pencils or markers • scissors

Rules and Procedures • Cell Phones: may not be used unless specifically told otherwise • iPods/Music Players: unless specifically told otherwise, music players are not to be used. • All bags and personal articles should remain on the floor or on the desk hook during class time • You may eat/drink in the room as long as it contains NO PEANUTS and you don’t make a mess. Please clean up after yourself!

  4. Grading • Grades: You must earn 8 quality points to receive a passing grade (4 points is teacher discretion and 5 – 7 points requires proof of deviation). It is unlikely that you will pass this class if you fail more than two marking periods.

  5. Discipline etc. • Class Cuts/Lateness: in accordance with the school discipline policy – if you cut two classes, your grade will drop a full letter grade. If you cut three classes, you will receive an “F” for that marking period. Each time you are late you will be marked as such. Please be aware of the school attendance policy. • All other school policies will be enforced per the NHS student handbook discipline code

  7. Student was absent • Check website • Check daily blog entry – all handouts and presentations • Print information

  8. No Textbook at home? • Library and print each selection – as necessary
