7. Schedule Status • Mostly on schedule • West bay nearly done • Mezzanine demolition delayed to January to accommodate IARC ground breaking • Need west door truck access. • East bay work rearranged • Ahead on gas systems • Behind on cabinet clean out • More control system work than anticipated • First floor counting room pushed earlier to make equipment recovery easier • More equipment recovery work than planned • Collaborators showed up at the end of the run with requests and demands J. 8. Issues • Proposed experiments create significant uncertainty for D&D • Protoplasma • ORKA • Cable bridge plan assumed 20-year display phase • Removing bridge before detector makes detector removal trickier • If CDF is to be rolled out in the next few years, we should defer cable bridge removal until then • Work is on hold pending guidance from the Director • If CDF will be dismantled for experiments, how far do we go with the display plan • Dismount plug?
