  1. Crestwood MFL Why come to Crestwood? We have a highly successful & unique MFL department. Why is it unique? We are one of the few schools in the country where every child studies a language in KS3 & KS4.

  2. Crestwood MFL What courses do pupils follow? As well as modular GCSE courses, some pupils study the Certificate of Business Language (CBLC) in French, German or Spanish. This helps equip them with vital skills for the world of work.

  3. Crestwood MFL What about outside lessons? We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities through our foreign trips. Year 7 – Paris Year 8 – Cologne Year 9/10 – Exchange visit These trips help pupils use language in a realistic setting & to appreciate foreign culture.

  5. Crestwood MFL What were our GCSE results this year? MFL GCSE results 2007 French – 54% A* - C German – 59% A* - C CBLC (German) – 100% pass rate

  7. Crestwood MFL How do pupils learn? We use exciting methods to teach and enthuse pupils. We extensively use interactive methods. Etc, etc, etc.
