“There was a robbery!” shouted Jeremiah. Michael, the owner went outside to see if anybody was there.
There was just a pile of money to the left of the door. “Somebody dropped the money. They must have been in a hurry,” thought Michael. He only stole half the money. Michael called Wesley, the best detective in the world.
Wesley went outside and he saw Mary. He asked her, “Did you see any body come out of the restaurant?”
“Yes I saw Jackson, Robert, and Elizabeth” said Mary. “I saw Elizabeth run to the left, and Robert and Jackson took off to the right.
Wesley went back inside and asked Michael some questions. “Did Robert, Elizabeth, or Jackson ever work here?”
“Yes,” said Michael.
“I thought so,” said Wesley. Wesley went outside. He saw Gary the firefighter. He asked him if he saw anything suspicious.
“Why are you wearing a glove?” said Wesley.
“It’s my lucky glove,” said Gary. “Jackson stole my other one.”

Once he got there, he asked the clerk if Jackson, Robert, or Elizabeth had been at the store.
He said, “Yes, Jackson and Robert were here about an hour ago.”
“Thanks!” Wesley went to the address on the receipt - 1257 Horseshoe Pike. When he got there he rang the doorbell.
Wesley didn’t think anyone was home since the thief just stole the money and would have run away. “Ding Dong,” Wesley heard as he rang the doorbell. At the door was the thief. He was in big trouble!
