Register for LHS: • Choose MYP or Traditional/Pre-AP program (both worksheets are in your packet) • Complete worksheet for program you selected • Use worksheet to enter course requests online • Print a summary of online requests • Return the pink worksheet and online request summary to your middle school next week

DRAWING I 6600 • BHS, FHS,LHS, MVHS, TVHS • Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12 • Credit: .5 • Prerequisite: None • Fee: $20 per semester • In Drawing I students will: • be introduced to drawing as an art form • be exposed to composition in a variety of drawing media • be exposed to subject matter such as still-life, landscape, figure studies and portraiture • apply appropriate techniques and problem-solving to create personal expressions in drawing • be exposed to art history as it relates to drawing • DRAWING II 6602 • LHS, MVHS, TVHS, (BHS 10, 11, 12) • Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12 • Credit: .5 • Prerequisite: Drawing I • Fee: $20 per semester • In Drawing II students will: • develop a drawing portfolio which will show versatility of subject matter and media • do in-depth and finished drawings • read and critique personal expressions in drawing • be exposed to the history of drawing by artists, cultures, or historical periods • emphasis on drawing from observation (life drawing)

  18. ICAPIndividual Career & Academic Plan • 4 year course plan for grades 9-12 to prepare for post-secondary options • The ICAP is entered online on Naviance (a web-based management system) • Parents & students have access to Naviance & the ICAP • Naviance is introduced in middle school

  20. Online Course Requests • Log in to Campus Portal • Click on “Registration LHS 14-15”

  21. Click on Course Search Search by Course Name orCourse Number – CourseNumberis easier Then click “Go”

  23. Read Course Descriptions & click “Request this Course” Remember to add the numbers for both semesters of a 1.0 credit class

  24. As you enter your requests they appear under “Requested Courses”Units are tallied until you have 16/16

  25. After you enter 16 requests Enter 4 alternate courses in priority order Click “Request as an Alternate” to add course to your Alternate List

  26. To Drop a Class: Click on course title from list of requests Click “Drop This Request”

  27. Completed registration includes 16 classes + 4 alternates Click “Print Request Summary”
