  1. Check-in for Chapter 33 • Tom, I just triggered the Ending (217). • These are the last words for Chapter 33. Now, some of you have only read this far (which is fine!), and some of you have read ahead and have an idea of what she means. • Either way, it does not matter, because it is now your job to creatively begin writing how/what you think the next chapter will go. • You are going to begin writing as if you are James Dashner (the author of this book). He writes the book as from Thomas’ point of view. • See the next slide.

  2. Start this assignment by typing what is below in your Tri 2 Google Doc: CHAPTER 34 I blinked my eyes, certain that I could not have just heard her say those words to me. Then, I realized… • Today is Mon, 2/10

  3. Chapters 34 & 35 Chapter 34 • Think. What do you think is the strangest thing to happen in this chapter? • When you share with your assigned partner, the person who has the most syllables in their MIDDLE name shares first. Chapter 35 • Make a MEANINGFUL comment about this chapter.

  4. Chapter 36 • Reread the last line of the chapter. • Now, make a prediction about what you think this will mean for the Gladers.
