This resource explores geometric transformations including reflection, rotation, and translation. Reflection is compared to seeing your image in a mirror, while rotation involves turning shapes upside down or right side up. Translation occurs when shapes move diagonally, horizontally, or vertically. Engaging quizzes are included to test understanding of these concepts, such as identifying the type of transformation when two shapes are flipped or when they move in specific directions. Perfect for students learning about geometry in Mrs. Antekelian’s class!

Reflection • A reflection is like if you were looking at a mirror . When you put them together they match with each other.
Rotation • Rotation is when something is completely upside down or right side up.
Translations • When the shape turns diagnol , horizontal , and verticly that means it’s translation.
Quiz • What kind of transformation is this? • Transformation • Rotation • reflection
Quiz 1.When two shapes are flipped what is it called? 2.When two shapes do the same job as a mirror what is it called? 3.When a shape turns diagonal , horizontoly , and verticly what Transformation is it?
1.Rotation 1.Remember the tenesshoes
2.Reflection 2.Remember the colorful triangles
3.Translation 3.Remember the delicious steak
