  1. Industrial Revolution Writing PromptDue: Mon. 4/29/13 The Industrial Revolution was an important movement of the late 1700’s in Europe and early to mid 1800’s in North America. You will write a FIVE PARAGRAPH ESSAY describing this movement as well as its impact on our world today. Each paragraph should be at least 5 sentences and no more than 7 sentences long. There also should be evidence of the following in your essay: An overall definition of the Industrial Revolution (and not the first sentence I put on this paper!) An explanation of two inventions you feel were important/vital from the Industrial Revolution time period (1780-1860). What was the impact you felt these inventions had on society/world? How can we still see effects of the Industrial Revolution in our world today? Your essay should be TYPED. If it is not typed, you may not hand it in! The same spelling/grammar rubric we have used all year applies to this essay. Worth: 30 points
