  2. Vindicate • Vindicate is a verb that means to prove right or to clear of blame or suspicion. Vindicate is typically used when someone who has been accused of doing something wrong is exonerated. Exonerate and support are synonyms for vindicate. Countless times, someone is taken to court and people hope they are incarcerated, but they may turn out to be vindicated. I way could start to use the word vindicate is when someone is accused of doing something wrong then arefound to be innocent, I could say they have been vindicated.
