E N D
• Due to our situation, we can only film on school campus. This includes main school, the boarding houses and the studio. • For our opening sequence we were going to use either Beatrice Webb house and Cornhill house as they are very spooky and eerie. • We will also use the studio to create other sets that we need. We can use the studio to get the shot of the woman opening the doll house. SET/LOCATION
CAST Under the circumstances that we are now in, we now know we have to keep to a cast of 4 so we would have • Grandma • 3 'dolls' • We also think it may be difficult to have a grandma in our sequence so if we can't have one, we will have shots of just someone's hand opening this doll house.
SHOTS • Tracking shots of the girls getting ready to go downstairs for their tea party. • Close ups of the props-old china teacups being picked up • Close up shots of the girls showing their similarity in appearance • Possibly a trombone shot towards the end of the sequence of the doll house • Possibly an over the head shot of the girls at the coffee table
Mise – en – scene Props/set: • Old fashioned radio • Tea set, flowery mugs, doily, • Dolls • Teddies • A shot of a hand opening the doll house • Tracking the dolls coming out in union of their rooms • Following them down the stairs • Going to the tea party
sound • Upbeat 1940s music • We felt this would make the sequence more 'creepy' • contrapuntal
