Genuine Conversations • No sarcasm or humour! • Be clear and concise (don’t use too many words, and don’t water it down by using words such as sometimes, maybe, possibly…) • Use the Trademark & Trademark Behaviours as a guide (it gives you permission to have the conversation) • Focus on the behaviouryou have ‘noticed’ & the consequences of that behaviour (consider whether it is a once off occurrence, a pattern that has developed, or whether it is something to do with your relationship) • Offer solutions where possible and also how you can get involved in their solution • Commit to action/s – follow up with them!
