Even though it is true that LED grow lights in Canada are not exactly new, they are still the latest type of grow light in use today and they are among the most popular. While it is true that LED UVB light has many advantages and is arguably the best type of grow light that you could possibly choose for your indoor garden, this does not mean that everything you hear about this type of light is always true and below are three myths that you should be aware of before you go shopping for the lights. LED Lights Produce No Heat This is not true. LED plant lights may produce very little heat because they do not have any burning filaments but that does not mean they do not produce any heat at all. You should take note of this fact and make sure that you do not install the lights too close to the plants otherwise you risk crossing their consumption threshold and burning them out. LED Grow Light Will Never Need Replacement These grow lights may have longer lifespan compared to other but they do not last forever. At some point in future, you are going to have to replace them. Why is LED Better Than Any Other Grow Light The suitability of any LED grow light depends on the light spectrum that it produces and that is something you should always keep in mind when using them.
