  1. EOSS186 Flight DynamicsRuss Chadwick, KB0TVJ Real-time data from findU.com KC0YA-11 measurements @ 30 sec rate KC0UUO-11 measurements @ 1 sec rate Complete flight details at http://www.eoss.org/ansrecap/ar_200/recap185_186.htm

  2. Altitude and ascent rate from real-time data at findU.com

  3. Altitude and ascent rate from the KC0YA-11 log data available after flight

  4. 3D movement from KC0UUO-11 log for “t127” period in ascent rate list

  5. 3D movement from KC0UUO-11 log for entire flight

  6. 3D movement from KC0UUO-11 log for two minute period around burst

  7. 3D movement from KC0UUO-11 log for 20 sec period at burst

  8. Conclusions from one second data • It is not apparent that flight dynamics caused the 127 second GPS drop-out on KC0YA-11 • Burst resulted in strong lateral motion (post-burst chaos?) persisting during the descent • Lateral motion during descent did not impact GPS operation in either KC0YA-11 or KC0UUO-11 • Lateral motion started several seconds after burst and was likely not caused by burst directly
