  2. “Fair Minded” • Eugenes 2104 • “Not many noble” (1Co.1:26) • In Acts 17:11, nobility of heart • “In that” • They received the word with all readiness • One’s “fair mindedness” (nobility of heart) is manifest by one’s readiness to receive the truth

  3. “Readiness” • prothumia 4288 ; • “eagerness, willingness, readiness” “ a predisposition” • Notice “pre”-disposition • (2Co.8:11,12,19 ; 9:2) • The Result • Therefore many of them believed (v.12)

  4. Ready To Search • “They searched the scriptures daily” • We must be seekers (He.11:6) • (Mt.7:7) (Ac.17:27) (Ep.5:8-17) (Pr.28:5) (Ps.42:1) (Mt.5:6) • Contrast is Apathy (Mt.13:15,19) • (Hos.4:6) (Ro.1:21,24,28) • Must love Truth to seek it • (Pr.23:23) (Lk.8:18) (Ac.22:22) (Is.30:9-11)
