REMAX– Most Common Myths • Myth – LeadStreet is a superior lead routing system • Fact – LeadStreet has under a 1% conversion rate • Leads are sent to multiple associates (first come, first serve • Leads are not scrubbed • Myth – I get a 90% split, so I can make more money • Fact – The bigger your split, the more fees you pay • Myth – I get all the support I need • Fact – Many associates are left to their own “devices” as REMAX promotes an independent culture.

  8. Associate Testimonials Fees too high for agents to pay and with the market not doing well it is hard to get business. No team support, very competitive culture, each agent and office for themselves (they are their biggest competitor). Other offices try to recruit agents and steal business. New agents are being recruited and there is resentment from experienced agents and don’t want to help them out. Minimal hands on training except online. Only regional training (no mandatory or corporate unless individual broker mandates it) – each associate has to pay for it. Weekly office meetings are not something that is usually done in RE/MAX offices except for maybe to bring in guest speakers. Many associates HAVE to stay because they owe too much from the fees they have accumulated.

Hit Them Where It Hurts • Lead Street • WLN are all scrubbed leads that come in the form of a “warm” phone call • WLN leads go to 1 person at a time, not sent to multiple associates • 75% of all the calls are on brand x listings • WLN is open 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm • Weichert buys over 350K key words – this assures top of first page positioning on the Internet – Paid AND Organic searches • GREAT supplemental income • You pay NO referral income on all business your satisfied customers refer to you – many associates receive many referrals from various lead network deals they complete • Big split…Big fees • Initiation fees • Management fees • Office fees • Copy fees • Late payment fees, Broker service/Operating fees, etc.
