  2. Daytime Danger • Heat (Children are smaller than adults and they dehydrate quicker.) • Insect Bites ( These bites can cause infections and can harm smaller children) • Bike riding ( When riding without helmets you can cause concussions if you fall off.)

  4. Safety tips • Insect Safety: Don’t act rapidly around biting and stinging insects. Also you can repel insects by using insect repellent. • Sunscreen Safety: Use sunscreen to help prevent burns and skin cancer. Pick sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher and offers UVA and UVB protection. • Summertime Food Safety: Help prevent foodborne illness and food poisoning. When the weather gets warmer the bacteria grows faster which causes food poisoning.
