Patrol Leaders’ Council PLC - The Engine that powers the boy-led troop, a great place for scouts to develop their leadership skill! • Planning is critical to the success of a troop and its program • PLC meetings are opportunities to longer-range planning • The commitment of the boys to the troop is also critical 6

PLC Annual Program Planning Conference • Develop Troop Goals for the coming year • Schedule Major events • Schedule Special Troop Activities • Select Program Features • Notes: • All the activities and monthly meetings are based on the annual planning • There will be “program planning” course in this training 8

  9. Who Are In PLC • Anyone who • has a troop level job • is in charge of an event/activity (SIC) • has the rank of Star or above • For all others, depending on troop polices, may or may not welcome to attend the meetings 9

  10. What To Discuss Or Decide • Activities are happening • Activities will happen - The future time length depends on what the activity is • Reflection for the event happened last month • Reviews – mini, midyear and annual • Planning 10
