  3. Urgency Ordinance Implementation New Development Water Conservation Program Plumbing Retrofits Status Outdoor Water Conservation Program Development Agricultural Water Offset Program Presentation by the Upper Salinas -- Las Tablas Resource Conservation District

  4. New Development Water Conservation Program New development (homes) in the PRGWB must offset new water use 280 gallons/ household/ day Program launched April 2014 Replaces plumbing fixtures (toilets, showerheads) in existing homes to save water New development pays for the cost of retrofits

  5. Program Status 45 Homes Retrofitted 2508 gallons of water saved per day Approx. 10 retrofits in progress 6 New Development Projects have offset water use through the program Total of 1137 gallon credits purchased

  6. Outdoor Water Use Reduction Incentive Program (Cash for Grass) Expected to start Summer 2015 Funded by new development Only in areas with LOS III Incentives for turf removal Areas with higher potential for savings Nipomo Paso Robles Groundwater Basin
