Mrs. Hardison’s class went to the beach. They arrived with 5 red buckets for sand. When the got back to school, they only had two buckets. How many did they lose?
Barb’s team scored 8 points. The other team scored 3 points. How many more points did Barb’s team score?

Tuesday I skated six miles. At the end of the day on Wednesday I had skated a total of 9 miles for both days. How many miles did I skate on Wednesday?
