  4. 45th Ave S details • Zoning is Single Family • Right-of-Way is only 40’ • No existing drainage facilities • RPZ parking zones installed summer 2009

  8. Shared Street Details • 13’ of access maintained • Asphalt paving, established parking stalls, landscaping

  9. Parking space and crosswalk delineation • Stamped asphalt delineates 7’ x 20’ parking space • Stamped colored asphalt crosswalks at entries

  10. Curbless Street – Edge Treatment • Asphalt edge ends at landscaping • Need spot treatment to discourage illegal parking. Options include: • Short concrete curbs • Thickened asphalt edge • Wheelstops

  11. Landscaping • Eight new trees planted • Approx. 3000 SF of new landscaped area • Planting scheme: • Kelsey Dogwood (groundcover) • Geranium (groundcover) • English Lavender • Red flowering Currant • Sword Fern • Orchid Rockrose • Lipstick Strawberry (groundcover)

  12. Timeline • Construction scheduled to begin Sept 28th • Expected completion end of October.
