Rule 1 I will raise my hand whenever I want to speak or ask an questions Rational: if you don’t rise your hands when needed and just speak out when your not supposed to then your being rude and not respectful to your peers and you wouldn’t like it if someone did that to you. Whatever happens when everyone speak at once? It gets really loud and out of control.

Rule 2 • I will stay in single file line quietly when leaving the classroom. • Rational: you should always stay in a single file line quietly whenever leaving the classroom because if your loud and all out of line then you disturb classes and give the teacher a hard time to keep up with the class. • What do you think other classes and teachers would think about you if you didn’t follow this rule?

  4. Rule 3 • I will stay in my desk at all time unless told otherwise. • Rational: you should always be a responsible student and stay seated unless told otherwise. If not then you would disturb other classmates and attract attention.

  5. How do I attend to teach this in my classroom? • We will go over the rules all together • We will sign a contract stating that we all agree on the rules • We will do skits on the rules • We will have a pop quiz on the rules

Rationals • my Ese student is placed in the front so its easy for them to pay attention and understand and see everything I'm doing on the board. • My Esol student is placed in the front at the same group with my ese student so the esol student wont get distracted by students in the back and also able to help the ese student if I'm not able to get to him at the time. • My problem student is sitting in the front and by my desk so I can keep my eyes on him at all times just in case he call problems. • I have trashcans placed in the front and in the back so its easy for everyone to get up and throw their garbage away without distracting their class mates • I have my desk on the side so its easy for me to see everyone on both sides • My book shelve is placed in the front so its not combined with the discussion area • The discussion area is in the back so when we discuss its easy to go look back at the board and talk.
