2. What is an Animation? • Animation Effects: In Power Point, the program has Animation effects such as a title of a slide flying from the top left-hand corner to the bottom right-hand corner.

3. Steps before Animating • In put all your data, (information), in your slides. • Insert some pictures, graphics, or your clip art in the slides you desire. • You can add you animation effect as you inserting your data or at the end.

4. Animation in a Power Point Presentation Adding a Simple Animation Effect 1. Your screen should be in Normal View 2. Click slide elements you wish to work on

5. Example: Power Point Slide/Buttons to use 1.) Normal view 2.) Insert Button 3.) Animation Button Simple Animation Effect 1.) Normal View 2.) Click on the animations tab on the ribbons 3.) A drop box will drop: choose Effect. 4.) Effect will appear 5.) Clink Preview to see effect again under the animation button.

6. Animation with a Custom Effect Directions: 1. Be in Normal View and select Element you wish to work with. (element can be any object on the slide: text, shapes, and pictures). 2. Click the Animation tab and select Custom Animation which will open the Animation task pane.

7. Continue with Custom Effect 3.) Click Add Effect. 4.) Select an effect category. 5.) Click an animation. 6.) You will be able to see effect immediately. 7. ) You may also see the effect in Preview.

8. Questions ask about animation. • You can remove animation affect by going to animation tab click on it and select no animation. • You can always edit any animation by using the custom animation pane.
