Case Study: elevate DIGITAL & American Red Cross • Program Objectives • American Red Cross in Chicago was looking to inspire giving and encourage donations for the nonprofit organization during the 2013 holiday season by using interactive technology. • Encourage donations in a fun and interactive experience • Spread the American Red Cross message virally through social media and email sharing • Strategy • elevate DIGITAL created an interactive campaign and custom application to help the Red Cross bolster donations. • Deployed interactive advertising at nine locations across the Chicago area. • Touchscreen displays around the city featured information about the Red Cross and encouraged users to donate via a custom application that sent a link directly to the user’s mobile device or email. • Collected consumer data for re-targeting with brand messaging • Results • 43 Million+ total impressions (foot traffic from 43 units) • 63,000 + direct interactions with elevate DIGITAL screens • Over 15,000 photos taken and shared by email and social media • Nearly 600,000 positive PR impressions generating added value of $6,000
