ISSUES • More than 2 months delay in release of funds (cooking cost) to schools • Poor quality of rice supplied by FCI.Therefore, Poor lifting of food grains. • Mismatch between coverage of children and utilization of Cooking Cost, Food grain and Transport Assistance . • No serving of MDM on Saturdays • Lack of dedicated MDM structure. • Poor inspection of Schools • Poor coverage under School Health Programme. • No evaluation studies conducted.
