  11. 1. David’s heart begins to heal over death of Amnon. a) He has really lost 2 sons. b) Amazing a parent’s ability to forgive their children! c) Can a parent’s forgiveness ever be wrong?

  12. (1) Can it be detrimental? • (a) Seem to be here! • (i) What John Wesley say’s : • (a) “What amazing weakness… • (i) King David did nothing to Amnon. • (ii) If he had Absalom would not.

  13. (iii) He did nothing to Absalom! • 2. Could be because of David’s own sins? • a) Not a good quality. • 3. Or perhaps just as a parent! • a) Not a good quality for a king.

  14. 3. These inabilities going to be a big mistakes: a) Absalom to become his worse nightmare!
