  2. Early Experiences Super Nintendo was released to the United States in 1991, for $199.00, and was an instant success. This console is the first technological device I remember coming into contact with. When I first started using technology, I was not phased at all. This was probably due to that fact that I was introduced to technology at a very young age, and didn’t understand the phenomenon. In my house growing up, my family was very technology advanced, growing up with computers, televisions, and many game consoles. I thought this is how everyone lived. Surrounded by technology.

  3. In my life, I am surrounded by many technologically literate people. Perhaps the most technologically literate person in my life, would have to be my Computer and Networking Technology teacher at the vocational school I attend in Albany, New York. His relationship with both new and old technology simply blows my mind. He understands computers, gaming consoles, cell phones, anything technology advanced at all, with a better understanding then I’ve ever seen anyone acquire. My teacher, Mr. Patzarian, understands formatting computers, and understands the computer language as if he was born with it. He has taught me more than I have ever expected to learn about anything technological. Throughout the two years I’ve been with the Computer and Networking Technology program in Albany, I’ve gained a level of knowledge that will help me pursue the career that I look to put myself in for the rest of my life. He has helped me understand computers, and all that go with them. Including the language, the components, and the background to them. Mr. Patzarian is by far the most technologically literate person that I have ever known in my life.
