  5. Project Management Plan and Communication 1-Project Charter and the scope statement: • Is a statement of the scope, project goals, roles and responsibilities. • (Project Manager, and Project Sponsor) need to participate. • It will take 3 weeks.

Project Implementation • Move Switches to a Separate Room • We have 15 switches • We need 1 big room to allocate it in it • We will need 2 resources • They have to move them and arrange them in the new location • After reading online we estimated that it will take 2 hr per switch to move it and reinstall the cables • 15 * 2hr = 30 hr of work • 30 hr / 6 days = 5hr of work daily !!

Project Implementation • Install All Devices • New locked file cabinet • = 46 for each faculty office • We will need 4 people to get them in each office • Every 2 people will carry the cabinets (2 groups) • Each cabinet will take 20 min to put it in the office • They will work from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (4 hr) • In each hour 3 cabinets will be placed • Daily 24 cabinets will be placed • 24 cabinet * 2 days work = 48 cabinet • We have only 46 cabinet, 40 min will be considered for any delay

Project Implementation • Alarms • = 126 placed on each door as specified in the scope • Each alarm takes 1 hr to install • We will assign 4 people to do the job • They will work from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (4 hr) • Daily each worker will install 4 alarms • 4 alarms * 4 workers = 16 alarm daily • 16 alarm* 8 days work = 128 alarm • We have only 126 alarm to install, 2 hr will be considered for any delay

Project Implementation • Smoke and fire detectors • = 126 for each location • Each detector takes 2 hr to install • We will assign 2 people to do the job • They will work from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (4 hr) • Daily each worker will install 2 detector • 2 detector* 2 workers = 4 detector daily • 4 detector * 32 days work = 128 detector • We have only 126 detector to install, 4 hr will be considered for any delay

Project Implementation • Portable Fire Extinguisher • According to the number and the length of the colidoors • = will be in the colidoors 10 on each floor • We have 3 floors * 10 Fire Extinguisher / floor = 30 • We need 1hr to find the proper place to put it and then install it • We assigned 1 worker to do the task • He will work from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (4 hr) • 4 Fire Extinguisher will be installed daily • 4 Fire Extinguisher * 8 days work = 32 Fire Extinguisher • We have only 30 Fire Extinguisher to install, 2 hr will be considered for any delay

Project Implementation • Finger print and access cards • = 29 for each room and studio • We will not consider labs because it installed their • Each device takes 2 hr to install it • We will assign 4 workers to do the task • He will work from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (4 hr) • 8 devices will be installed daily • We will consider the time to register all faculty and students , but later after all the devices are installed in all the three buildings • 8 devices * 4 days work = 32 devices • We have only 46 machine to install, 6 hr will be considered for any delay

Project Implementation • Run Wires To Predetermined Location • It will take 7 days, with the help of 4 workers • The length of wires that will be needed can’t be estimated until the time on implementation • Maximum 1000m • Secure the Wiring through Compartmentalized Cable Ducts • It will take 7 days, with the help of 4 worker • The length of ducts that will be needed can’t be estimated until the time on implementation • Maximum 1000m • Configure and Test • It will take the 14 days to make sure that all the installed devices are working as intended
