  7. Email alerts workflow 1. Requester sends request 2. Responder ...is busy 3. LA Doc Del sends an email alert to the Responder’s email address 4. Responder checks inbox, sees email alert 5. Responder logs into LA Doc Del to respond to request

  8. What Alerts? Your Library as a Responder 1. Request-indication: When a new request has been sent to your library 2. Cancel-indication: When a cancel request has been sent 3. Renew-indication: When a renew request has been sent for a request you have supplied

Using Enhanced Requesting • If your library is a member of Libraries Australia Document Delivery the request will go to your library’s account. • Your library can be set up to receive an Email Alert that an Enhanced Request has been submitted from Libraries Australia Search • The request will not be activated until a staff member at your library authorises it

  37. Using Enhanced Requesting • If your library is not a member of Libraries Australia Document Delivery, the request is sent to your library’s email address according to the ILRS entry and library staff then process the request.
