  2. Like so many of you, I started out rather small.

  3. As luck would have it, my family was knock-your-socks-off-kinda wonderful. Let me tell you a little about them.

  4. Mom became a pilot at forty-nine. Not an easy task, and very inspiring.

  5. When Dad isn’t teaching or flying, he’s playing music.

  6. My sister is an archeologist, baker, archivist and biker. Basically she rocks.

  7. This is a picture of Mocha. She’s the adored baby in the family. You can see why.

  8. Then there’s me. I’ve spent most my life in schools. Sometimes I’ve been studying. Sometimes I’ve been rapping with second graders. I’ve attended school at: U Vic WWU UBC I‘ve taught school at: West View Elementary School Allen Elementary School

  9. Now for some things you might not know about me... I got married last April!

  10. My husband plays accordion in a rad band called“Once There Wasn’t”

  11. In 2003 we took the train from Vancouver to Halifax. Unexpectedly, Saskatoon was one of our favorite stops.

  13. I love banana splits with soy ice cream,

  14. knitting

  15. And being at SLAIS with all of you!
