Club Development • 13 FA Charter Standard Clubs • 3 FA Charter Standard Development Clubs • 2 FA Charter Standard Community Clubs • 39 FA Charter Standard Renewals • Kent FA Charter Standard clubs In Service training workshop • 40 participants attended ‘Moving from mini-soccer to 11 v 11’ • 36 participants attended ‘Skills Coaching for 5 – 11’s’ • Kent FA Charter Standard Club tournament • 32 teams competed at Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 12 Girls • National FA Charter Standard Club of the Year 2007 • Faversham Strike Force FC • Assessed four FA Charter Standard Holiday courses

Education • 10 FA Charter Standard Schools • FA Regional winners – Northdown Primary School • 2 FA Charter Standard School Workshops • 420 young people attended 2 FA Charter Schools Festivals • 31 Schools attended 2 Small Grants Scheme workshops • Tops Football Course delivered – 22 Teachers • Futsal Level 1 Course specific for teachers – 14 teachers • Futsal Festival for Schools – 8 Schools took part • Funding received from Football Foundation for Literacy & Numeracy project in conjunction with Charlton Athletic FC

Disability • Kent Junior Pan Disability League (2007/2008) • Under 11’s x 8 teams • Under 16’s x 10 teams • Kent Champions Cup tournament • Under 11’s x 8 teams • Under 16’s x 10 teams • Kent U17 MLD/EBD Representative teams • 6 matches • South East Champions • Kent Youth Games Special School Football tournament • 11 special schools participated • FA Coaching Disabled Football course at University of Kent • 20 participants attended course • Gained funding for Kent Disability Centre of Excellence

Women and Girls • 10 FA Charter Standard Club Workshops • 11 Small Grants Scheme Workshops • 8 New Junior clubs • 29 New Junior teams • 26 Out of the 34 Girls clubs have gained FA Charter Standard • 72 Girls at the Gillingham Centre of Excellence • New East Kent Girls League • -6 teams at Under 11 • - 8 teams at Under 13 • Administered County senior squad (6 matches) • Under 16 County Festival • Supported Seven School Club Links

Social Inclusion • Activity in all Districts • 124,000 young people been through programme • 3 Level 1 Courses delivered in districts for young people • Teenage pregnancy programme now being delivered across county • Male sexual health programme now being delivered across county • Football United Conference – 55 delegates • Guru Nanak FC achieved FA Charter Standard Club award • Funding workshop delivered for BME Clubs • Coaching development day specific for BME coaches Race Equality

Small Sided • Adult Futsal League at Tunbridge Wells • 8 teams • Qualifying league for National FA Futsal Cup competition • League winners (FCF Corinthians) attended National Futsal Cup • FA Level 1 Introduction to Futsal Coaching course at Kent College • 24 participants • FA Umbro Fives qualifying tournaments organised • Goals Bexleyheath (Male – 22 April & Female – 21 April) • Goals Dartford (Male – 29 April & Female – 28 April) • Goals Beckenham (Male – 15 April & Female – 29 January) • Tunbridge Wells (Female – 6 May)

Coach Education • Kent FA Courses attended by 834 coaches • 28 Level 1 Coaching in football courses • 8 Level 2 Certificate in coaching football courses • 2 Level 3 UEFA ‘B’ License coaching courses • 2 FA Level 2 Coaching Goalkeepers courses • 300 Kent Coaches Association Members • Three Kent Coaches Association Workshops

Skills Programme • Kent County FA recruited four full time coaches • Robert Udberg – Team Leader • Ian Varley • Joe Tinkler • Darren Phillips • 15,000 players coached since September 2007 • 160 players attending Three FA Skills Centres • Dartford Princes Park • Maidstone Hockey Club • Canterbury High School • Working in 26 schools each term • Over 1000 Children coached per week

Volunteers • 19 Volunteer placements • Two Step into Sport Conferences held in East and West Kent • 19 young volunteers in Step into Sport Programme • 2 volunteers attended FA Young Leaders Camp in July • Kent County FA Volunteer Awards Evening • - Kent FA Charter Standard Clubs • Kent FA Charter Standard Schools • Football Workforce awards • Kent County FA Grassroots Coach of the Year

Safeguarding Children • Manage and oversee Child Protection cases • 45 new cases/suspensions/referrals • Safeguarding Children in Football Workshops delivered • 8 Youth League Welfare Officers in place to date • 103 Club Welfare Officers listed • 4 Welfare Officer Workshops • FA Verifiers workshop delivered • 24 verifiers currently in place throughout Kent • Contact details of verifiers collected and circulated
