  • Encourage all relevant actors and stakeholders to protect the integrity of the electoral process
  • Raise awareness of electoral processes’ key role in supporting sustainable democracy
  • Promote the adherence to international electoral principles by national, regional, continental and global actors
  • Re-situate electoral processes within security, democratization and development contexts
  • Provide a compelling and comprehensive approach for national and international efforts to successfully safeguard the integrity of the electoral process
  • Provide recommendations to national governments, institutions and civil society as well as international and regional organizations on how to collaborate effectively to translate the new approach into practice
  • Promote, including at high political level, renewed commitment to the integrity of electoral processes

Mobilisation of political commitment

Advocate a more central place for electoral processes

Publicly present its recommendations- advocate for inclusion of recommendations on the agendas of relevant stakeholders
