  3. Why This Career? • Enjoy teaching & leaning new things • Like to help others accomplish there goals • Always wondered what it would feel like to be a teacher rather than a student

  5. Duties & Responsibilities • Management of the classroom • Positive reinforcement • Making sure each student is on task • Planning lessons • Weekly • Teach the state standards for their grade level • Discipline students when needed

  6. Duties & Responsibilities • Grade students assignments monitor progress • Prepare test & quizzes • Prepare students for life after graduation • Challenge students to improve there abilities • Teach students as an entire classroom

  16. Final Thoughts on Senior Project • Was in for a lot more than I expected • Enjoyed working with my mentor • Excited to finally complete the project • Made me want to really pursue this career

  17. What I Plan To Do in the Future • Get my high school diploma • Join the air force or another branch of the government • Come home go to college and pursue my career as a teacher
