1. pleased = glad, delighted

e.g. Pleased /glad / delighted to meet you.

2. fly – flew – flown

3. relaxed a. – relax v. 放松 relaxation n.

4. shame = pity

e.g. What a shame / pity!

5. usually adv. – usual a.

6. really adv. – real a. 真正的

e.g. Who really owns this car?

7. sandwich – (pl.) sandwiches

8. finish doing sth.

e.g. I’ve finished reading the novel.

9. by train = by rail

类似的词组还有:by bus, by ship, by plane, by tube, etc. 但是“步行”是: on foot

10. nap n. / v. (– napped – napped)

have / take a nap after lunch

11. reservation n. – reserve v.

make a reservation

13. sign v. – signature n.

由do not (don‘t), does not (doesn't) + 动词原形构成。

I like bungee jumping.

--I do not (don't) like bungee jumping.

He / She likes listening to music.

--He / She does not (doesn’t) like listening to music.


一般疑问句:Do/Does +主语+动词原形…?

e.g. Do you eat in the canteen at lunchtime?

--Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.

Dose she like flying?

-- Yes, she does. / No, she doesn't.

特殊疑问句:疑问词+ do/does + 主语 +动词原形…?

e.g. Where do you have lunch?

What time does he start work?


enjoy 是及物动词,后面一定要有宾语。

1. enjoy oneself 玩得痛快

e.g. I enjoyed myself very much at the party.

2. enjoy的宾语也可以是某项活动、一餐饭等。

e.g. She really enjoysherfood.

I very much enjoyedtheparty.

3. enjoy doing sth.

e.g. I don't enjoy travelling very much.(不能说:*... enjoy to travel ...)


常见的频度副词有:never,sometimes,often ,usually,always按频率从小到大,可以这样排列:

never sometimes often usually always


1. 在 be动词之后:

I'm usually ill on planes.

Are you usually at home on Monday?

He is seldom at home. (他不常在家。)

2. 在实意动词之前:

I usually work on Friday.

I sometimes go to London.

He often goes to school early.

3. 在含有助动词,情态动词的句子中,置于助动词或情态动词之后,实意动词之前。

He doesn't always work on Tuesday.

I don't usually go to work by bus.

You can always find some excuse.

Do you usually get up at 7:00?

--Yes, I usually do.

I know I should take exercise, but I never do.

1.动词to have有多种含义,主要含义有以下几种

1). 具有(某种精神素质或生理特点)

I have (got) black hair.

She has a good memory.

2). 拥有 (东西)

I have a car. ---- Do you have a car?

Or: I have got a car. ---- Have you got a car?

3). 吃,喝

He has lunch in the canteen

I have a sandwich for lunch.

4). 有(表示某种关系)

I have two sisters.

Does he have any friends?

5). 患(病):遭受(病痛)

He says he has (got) a headache.

Session 312小时表达法

1. 英语中表示“几点过几分”,用介词past,但分数必须在半小时(包括半小时)以内:

e.g. five (minutes) past ten

a quarter past nine

half past eight

2. 表示“几点差几分”,用介词to,但分数须在半小时(不包括半小时)以内:

e.g. five (minutes) to six / (a) quarter to eight

(在读以上时刻时,可省去minutes,但是如果分钟数不是5的倍数,如17分,26分时, 在分钟数后加minutes)

e.g. It‘s 17 minutes past ten.

quarter 之前的a也可以省略。

3. 表示"午前"可用a.m.,表示"午后"可用p.m.,表示"在中午"用at noon:

e.g. The train leaves at 7 a.m.

(=The train leaves at 7 in the morning.)

The exam starts at 2 p.m.

(=The exam starts at 2 in the afternoon.)

What's the time? It's 9 p.m.

(=It’s 9 o'clock in the evening)


I usually take a nap at noon. (我经常在中午睡一会儿午觉。)
