Streams are essential components of our planet's ecosystems, supporting a diverse range of life, including fish, frogs, turtles, and birds. They are found globally, resembling veins and arteries from space, interconnected with rivers and creeks. These water bodies serve as key transportation routes for water, flowing from mountains to oceans while covering only 3% of Earth's surface. Streams are also rich in microorganisms, which play a critical role in maintaining ecological balance. Learn more about their anatomy and significance through various resources.
