  2. Origin Of Cricket • Evidence suggests it was played in England in the 12th-13th century • In 1744 the London Cricket Club produced what are recognizably the rules of modern cricket

  3. First International Matches • First official international match: Canada v United States, at New York, September 24-25, 1844 • The firstever test match was held between England and Australia, at Melbourne, from the 15th to the 19th of March, 1877
