  2. Topic Sentence • The topic sentence is the first sentence of the paragraph. • It lets you know what the paragraph is going to be about.

  3. Paragraph Body • Next is the paragraph body, or the supporting sentences. • These are usually 2 or 3 sentences that talk give more information about the topic sentence.

  4. Conclusion • This is the final sentence of the paragraph. • It usually sums up the topic or restates the topic sentence but in a different way.
