Engage students in thought-provoking activities centered around identifying and analyzing the most challenging occupations in society. This lesson focuses on critical reading skills, theme analysis, informative writing, and class discussion. Students will watch "The Worst Jobs in History", take notes, and work on a summative assessment. They will also practice speaking and listening through a class discussion and craft a thesis statement by Wednesday. The lesson culminates in students submitting their research project work.
