  6. Donations will always be gladly accepted. We go through a lot of school supplies within a few months. Items most needed: white cardstock, Scotch heavy duty packing tape, 24 pack of Crayola crayons, baby wipes, disinfectant wipes, pencils, glue sticks, and hand sanitizers Donations will always be gladly accepted.   7. In lieu of sending home nightly packets, we have streamlined the homework to be less than 10 minutes each night. This will allow families to spend more time together and for the students to go to bed early.  Please work on blending and reading 20 minutes nightly withyour child.   8. I use a daily sticker chart. If your child had a good day, he/she will earn a sticker.   9. Please have your child ready and in the classroom by 8:00. If he/she arrives after this time, it is considered to be a tardy. If he/she arrives after 8:20, you will need to check him/her into the office. Please call the attendance office if your child will be absent.   10. Please send a nutritious snack with your child to school for recess at 9:30. Water is the only drink allowed inside the classroom.   11. We have only two parties: Thanksgiving Feast and our Valentine’s Day Fruit Party. At our Thanksgiving Feast, we will share foods made from harvest fruits and vegetables and our Valentine’s Day Fruit Party will have a collection of fruits to bring awareness to healthful eating.   12. Birthdays are a joyous and happy time in kindergarten! If you would like to bring something in to share with the class, please inform me well ahead of the birthday so we can plan accordingly.   13. We will have high school buddies with Mr. Pollard’s tenth graders. They will come join us for breakfast about once a week. Our class will rotate twice a week with Miss Dailey’s class.
