Straight Facts • To properly Work out & gain muscles, you need to ingest correct Recovery foods • After an intense workout your body stores glycogen; an after-product of the energy you used during your workout. • You should ingest around ¾ of carbs per pound of body weight. To be most usefull it has to be consumed in the first 30 minutes of your workout.

What You Lose And Why Lose Some Nutrients During a Workout • After a workout the carbohydrate that is stored in your muscles is used up. • If you don’t replenish those carbs, your body will not recuperate appropriately & you will definitely suffer from it in your next workout. • Those carbs are depleted in your workout because they help you through all of the weight lifting and cardio. • Also a lot of protein in your body is lost during a workout.
