Grad Requirements & Grade 11/12 • Grade 10: English, SS, Science, Math, PE, Planning • English/Communications 11, SS 11, a Science 11, a Math 11 • English/Communications 12, 3 grade 12 electives, and Grad Transitions • One fine art/applied skills elective over grade 10-12 • 80 credit minimum – 52 required, 28 elective

Post-Secondary • Critical to see the post-secondary institutions’ websites – things change every year and sometimes during the year • Arrange visits on pro-d days and holidays. • Go to open houses. • Watch deadlines for application dates, scholarship and bursary dates, and additional information required (transcripts, portfolios, personal profiles, auditions etc.)

Provincial Scholarships & Provincial Exams • Top 5000 students in BC, based on 5 exams • Must have completed courses to qualify • B overall in English 12 • Recipients will be informed in October following graduation.   • If a student wishes to rewrite an exam, s/he must do so by August 31 of the year in which s/he graduates.

  17. Newsletters • Delivered to grade 12 classes, extras in counselling office • Posted to website under counsellors – grads • Lots of information
