  2. Measurements • 1.) 3”,3”,5” 10.) 3”,3”, 3” • 2.) 7”,7”,12” 11.) 2”,2”,3” • 3.) 6”,6”,6” 12.) 3”,3”,4” • 4.) 2”,2”,2” 13.) 6”,6”,7” • 5.) 3”,3”,5” 14.) 2”,2”,1 • 6.) 2”,5”,7” 15.) 3”,5”,8” • 7.) 3”,3”,5” • 8.) 5”,7”,9” 6”,6”,6”. (Equilateral) • 9.) 6”,7”,8” 3”,3”,4”. (Right Triangle)

  3. At Work

  4. Triangle One • 7”,7”,12”. • 7^2 + 7^2 = 12^2 • 49 + 49 = 98 (Obtuse Triangle) • 98 = 144 We believe that the math did work because the right side is bigger then the left side so there for it equaled out to be a obtuse triangle.

  5. Triangle Two • 6”’,6”,6” • 6^2 + 6^2 = 6^ 2 • 36 + 36 = 72 (Acute Triangle) • 72 = 36 The measurements of this triangle are equal because it is an equilateral triangle. It has all equal sides but you can only use pythag to solve for Obtuse, acute and right triangles.

  6. Triangle Three • 2”,5”,7” • 2^2 + 5^2 = 7^2 • 4 + 25 = 29 (Acute Triangle) • 29 = 49 We believe that the math did work because it showed that the right side is bigger than the left side so it came to equal out a acute triangle.

  7. Triangle Four • 5”,7”, 9” • 5^2 + 7^2 = 9^2 • 25 + 49 = 74 ( Acute Triangle) • 74 = 81 We believe that the math did work because the right side it bigger than the left side so it equaled out to be an acute triangle

  8. Triangle Five • 3”, 3”, 4” • 3^2 + 3^2 = 4^2 • 9 + 9 = 18 ( Acute Triangle ) • 16 = 18 We believe that the math did work but we measured for a right triangle.
