  2. ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) is a technique used in IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) to help couples with male fertility issues conceive a child. Here is a general outline of the process involved in ICSI treatment for pregnancy: 1. Consultation and Evaluation: The first step is to consult with a fertility specialist who will assess your medical history, perform a physical examination, and conduct various tests to evaluate your fertility status. Both partners may undergo tests to determine the cause of infertility. 2. Ovarian Stimulation: The woman will undergo ovarian stimulation using hormonal medications to encourage the development of multiple follicles (fluid-filled sacs containing eggs) in her ovaries. These medications are usually self-administered through injections and are closely monitored with ultrasound scans and hormone level measurements. https://eeshanivf.in/

  3. 3. Egg Retrieval: When the follicles are mature, an egg retrieval procedure is performed. The woman is usually given anesthesia, and a needle is guided into the ovaries via ultrasound to extract the eggs from the follicles. This procedure typically takes around 20-30 minutes. 4. Sperm Collection: On the same day as the egg retrieval, the male partner provides a sperm sample. If the male partner has fertility issues, a surgical procedure called testicular sperm extraction (TESE) or percutaneous epididymal sperm aspiration (PESA) may be performed to retrieve sperm directly from the testicles or epididymis. 5. ICSI Procedure: Using a specialized microscope, an embryologist selects a single healthy sperm and injects it directly into the mature egg. This process is called intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). The injected eggs are then placed in a laboratory dish containing a special culture medium. 6. Fertilization and Embryo Development: The next day, the embryologist examines the eggs to determine if fertilization has occurred. If successful, the fertilized eggs (embryos) are allowed to develop and grow in the laboratory for several days. https://eeshanivf.in/
