  1. Typically what you’re actually reading is about 15 degrees lower than your eye. If you do not touch type, or are wearing bi-focal or vari-focal glasses, have the screen slight lower (75mm approximately) to help reduce unnecessary head movement when looking from screen to keyboard.

  2. Always adjust the brightness and contrast controls so that the screen is as comfortable as possible to read. The screen should be clean, free from flicker and with all characters sharp and steady. Any problems with your computer equipment should be reported to your IT Help Desk.
