  2. 1. The animal in this photo is walrus. It is swimming and hunting for seals. It is looking for its food.

  3. 2. They live in the coastwater of Artctica, North America and Russia. The walruses likeshallowwaterclose to floatingpieces of ice. So we canmeet them rightthere. The walruses eatfish, snails, crustacean, seals and carrion. Femaleshave one baby in earlysummer. Their pregnancylastsfrom 15 to 16 mounths. They live about 50 years and weighfrom 400 to 1700 kilos.

  4. 3. Walruses are on the ‘red list’ because they are in danger of becoming extinct. People kill them because of their meat, skin, bones and tusks.
