  2. 16-20 September 2019 • Depart Furrowfields at 10:00 am • Children to meet staff at Furrowfields 15 minutes prior to departure time • Arrive back at Furrowfields approximately 2:30 pm

  3. Pre-visit • Please complete and return all necessary paperwork to Mr Harvey by the required deadline • Medical information • Photography permission • Souvenirs • Swimming ability • These will all be sent home week commencing 10 June 2019, to be returned by Friday 21 June 2019

  4. Pre-visit (continued) • Please ensure that you have spoken to the relevant member of staff regarding any medication or medical requirements for your child prior to 21 June 2019 and completed the required paperwork for the administering of medicines

  5. Departure Day • Please report to Mr Harvey at Furrowfields at the stated time where he will complete the register • If not already done, please hand in all medicines to the first aid member of staff • Children do not need to bring a packed lunch

  6. At Grafham Water • The children will sleep in bunk-bedded rooms, up to 6 children per room • The rooms are spread over two floors: male and female • Kingsfield staff will have rooms adjacent to the children’s rooms • The children will experience a varied programme of activities during the week • The exact schedule will not be available until the week prior to the trip, but we have requested a selection of wet and dry activities from the following list: • Raft building, canoeing, sailing, climbing wall, archery, BMX bikes, orienteering, bush craft, high ropes, Jacob’s ladder, crate stacking

  7. At Grafham Water (contd) • There will also be opportunities to take part in a variety of evening activities, sometimes led by Grafham staff, sometimes by Kingsfield staff. These may include the Grafham challenge, low ropes, problem solving and night walk

  8. At Grafham Water (contd) • All meals are provided. These include cooked breakfast, hot lunch and evening meal • Hot chocolate is available before bed • Children do not need to bring any pocket money • Pre-ordered souvenirs will be handed out on the coach on the way home to avoid misplacing any items

  9. At Grafham Water (contd) • We expect that all children will act and behave responsibly at all times, day and night • Kingsfield staff at Grafham will be in daily contact with Mrs Pritchard and any child whose behaviour is deemed unsafe may well have to leave the group and return home
